Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school location in Waterbury, CT. This contract position supports students during the current school year and offers flexibility in scheduling, with full-time hours preferred but part-time considered. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to approximately 29 students, collaboratively working alongside an SLP Assistant. Attend and actively participate in PPT/IEP meetings to support individualized education planning. Develop, implement, and monitor student-specific treatment goals to facilitate progress. Supervise and guide the work of the SLP Assistant. Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments to determine student needs. Qualifications/Desired Experience: Valid State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred. Ability to manage a caseload and collaborate effectively with educational teams. Strong communication skills for engaging with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff. Proven experience supervising support staff such as SLP Assistants. Location: Waterbury, Connecticut Work Schedule: Ideally Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM. Part-time schedules may be accommodated for the right candidate. Benefits: Contract position with competitive hourly compensation.
