Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This opening is for an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Union, ME. The position is a contract role running from September 2, 2024, through June 11, 2025, with a schedule of 2.5 days per week (approximately 20 hours). The caseload will include approximately 10-15 students, providing targeted OT services to support their educational and developmental goals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to K-12 students based on state guidelines and student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement effective intervention plans Assess student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school regulations Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license meeting all state requirements (non-negotiable) Experience working in school-based settings preferred Ability to manage a caseload of 10-15 students Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and school personnel Familiarity with current educational and therapeutic best practices Location: Union, ME This role offers a consistent part-time schedule suitable for professionals seeking a balanced workload in a supportive educational environment.
