Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position is for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working onsite at a middle or high school, with the option of an elementary caseload based on candidate preference. The role supports students within the school year calendar and focuses on delivering targeted speech and language services to enhance student communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy to students across middle and high school levels, or elementary if preferred Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with regulatory guidelines Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation on student performance and therapy outcomes Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), or School SLP certification Experience working with school-age children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively Flexibility to work part-time onsite during the school year Location: New Braunfels, Texas This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities in a supportive school environment.
