We have Full-time opportunities to provide Speech Therapy to students in a school based setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Language Pathologists Assistants (SLPA) to join our awesome team at Whole Child Therapy.
We have a full-time opportunity to provide services at our school-based contract in Murietta, CA. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) experience (or interest in learning more) is also a plus!

Salary:
- Hourly Rate: $28 to $36/hour, based on years of pediatric experience

Role and Responsibility
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in this flexible role, you will play a crucial role in helping students reach their full potential through therapeutic interventions and activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Assist in conducting therapy sessions and implementing appropriate techniques and strategies.
- Help students develop speech and language skills through engaging activities and exercises.
- Provide support during assessments and screenings, documenting student progress and observations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers and caregivers, providing updates on therapy progress and home-based strategies.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and certified occupational therapy assistants to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participating in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities.

RequirementsQualifications
- Valid California licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Therapist
- Previous experience working as a Speech Therapist in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, SLPAs, and other professionals
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and report writing
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current practices in speech therapy
- Comfort with technology for virtual meeting participation and remote administrative tasks
