Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Park Forest, Illinois
Schedule: Part-Time | 3 Days Per Week
Caseload: High School (Grades 912)

We are seeking a dedicated SLPA to join a high school team in Park Forest, IL . This part-time role involves working closely under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in achieving their communication goals.
Role Overview:Schedule: 3 days each week
Caseload: Around 2530 students in grades 912
Student Needs:
Mild to moderate language delays/disorders
Two students using AAC devices requiring device support and communication strategies
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering direct therapy services under SLP guidance
Preparing therapy materials and documenting student progress
Assisting with AAC implementation and troubleshooting
Collaborating with the SLP, teachers, and other school staff
Active Illinois SLPA license/certification
Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
Comfort working with AAC technology is a plus
