Speech-Language Pathologist in Elmhurst, IL

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an onsite K-5 school in Elmhurst, IL. This contract position runs from August 15, 2025, through mid-September with a caseload of 25-35 students. Key responsibilities include: Delivering speech-language services to students in general education settings and self-contained special education classrooms Working closely with students who have autism or exhibit characteristics of autism Collaborating with teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and assessments Qualifications and experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with K-5 students, including those with autism spectrum disorders Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload of 25-35 students effectively Schedule and location details: Full time, 33.75 hours per week Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Onsite work only in Elmhurst, IL This role offers the opportunity to support young learners in a dynamic educational environment while covering a crucial teacher absence.
