Position Type: Student Support Services/Speech and Language Pathologist Date Posted: 8/13/2025 Location: Brookfield LaGrange Park School District 95 Date Available: 09/01/2025 Closing Date: 09/01/2025 Brookfield LaGrange Park School District #95 Speech Language Pathologist - Maternity Leave (Multiple Positions) Job Description/Posting Provides direct and consultative speech therapy to students including assessment, developing goals, individualized education plans (IEP), program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication with students, families, and other staff members. Provides services to meet students' individual speech and language needs as based on students' goals. Assists and guides teachers in observing, describing and referring students when there are suspected or identified speech and/or language impairments. Conducts comprehensive evaluations of students' including speech, voice, language, and fluency for evaluation and IEP meetings and makes recommendations. Completes written reports for IEP meetings. Serves as a member of a student's IEP team. Consultation and collaboration skills to be a supportive resource on a variety of topics including strategies, interventions and supports that can be provided to students within and outside of the classroom setting to develop students' communication skills. Utilizes assistive devices or technology to support students' language development. Experience providing individual, small group, and classroom interventions. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and child development. Adheres to applicable principles and practices of speech therapy, District policies and procedures, and state regulations. Qualifications: Current and valid PEL with a Speech Language Pathologist (teaching or non-teaching) endorsement; Master's Degree and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology required;
