Travel Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric RT

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with recent Level 1 pediatric trauma experience and an active IN license for a rotating assignment in Indiana.

• Work in pediatric respiratory therapy with assignments in NICU, PICU, or pediatric units
• Patient population includes neonatal, pediatric, and critical care cases
• Floating is required within the hospital and may include affiliate hospitals
• Day and night 12-hour shifts available, with alternating weekends required
• No specific charting system experience required, but Cerner is used
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric team providing advanced respiratory care
• All travelers are required to float as needed across pediatric specialties and affiliate locations
• Must complete required online and onsite modules as part of pre-assignment onboarding
• Perm or PRN IU employees must be away for 12 months before being considered for travel roles
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted for allied positions, including this role
• Up to 5 days of requested time off are auto-approved; more than 5 days requires approval

• Current IN Respiratory Therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in NICU or PICU, including Level 1 pediatric trauma within the past year
• ACLS, BLS, RRT certifications required; NRP required if placed in L&D (can be obtained after offer); PALS preferred
• Graduation from a program accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Travelers university must be ACEN or CCNE accredited at time of graduation
