Description
  • Conduct initial evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient contexts, crafting tailored treatment plans for each individual.
  • Implement physical therapy modalities focused on mobility, strength improvement, balance restoration, and functional capabilities.
  • Work in concert with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to elevate patient outcomes.
  • Guide patients and their families through the therapeutic objectives, discharge protocols, and at-home exercise regimens.
  • Maintain meticulous records of evaluations, treatment modalities, and patient progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure cohesive patient care across various platforms.
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or similarly recognized degree from an accredited institution.
Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist .
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatric or neurological care) are beneficial but not necessary.
Skills
  • Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
