Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services at a middle school location in Puyallup, WA. This contract position is available for the full school year (NSY) and requires on-site work. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations and will manage a caseload of approximately 50 students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Document and track student outcomes in compliance with educational and healthcare standards Provide services independently as no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be available Qualifications and Experience: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in both school-based and healthcare pediatric settings is preferred Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required or successfully completed Ability to manage a caseload of around 50 students efficiently without assistant support Strong skills in assessment, treatment, and goal development for school-aged children Location: Middle school setting On-site work required in Puyallup, Washington This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse middle and high school populations in a supportive educational environment.
