Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Provide expert speech and language services in an elementary school setting located in Citrus Heights, CA, during the normal school year on a contract basis. This role involves comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, and delivering targeted therapy to support student communication development. Key responsibilities include: Conduct thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet individual student goals Deliver speech and language therapy sessions aligned with therapeutic objectives Monitor, document, and report student progress with precision Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsincluding educators and other specialiststo ensure cohesive care Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process Qualifications and experience desired: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly valued Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and rapport Capacity to work independently and collaboratively The ideal candidate must also: Maintain an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology for this state Possess or be in the process of obtaining a Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology This opportunity provides access to a supportive advisory team of experienced SLP professionals located in your state, ensuring ongoing guidance and professional development.
