Hiring School Occupational Therapist and Certified OTA’s – 25/26 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support students with various mental and physical disabilities. The OT and COTA will treat to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. The ultimate priority of our Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) is to restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.

Requirements:

  • One (1) year of Occupational Therapist (OT) / Assistant (OTA) experience with school-based experience (Preferred)
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy / Assistant program with either an Associates degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc.
  • Current, unencumbered state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist / Assistant (OTA)

What We Offer:

  • Weekly Pay
  • Monday-Friday schedule between the hours of 7am-4pm
  • Pay-
  • OT up to $60+/hr
  • CO TA up to $42+/hr
  • Location- Orange County


Responsibilities:

  • Provides occupational therapy services/interventions to patients in accordance with physician orders.
  • Assesses patient needs; plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions.
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
  • Instructs patient/family/caregivers on patient’s total occupational therapy program.
  • Other Occupational Therapist duties as assigned.
