Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized therapy services in an early childhood educational setting. This contract position supports children enrolled in Pre-K programs, focusing on early identification and intervention to promote effective communication skills during critical developmental years. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders in young children. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports. Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development focused on early language acquisition. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with early childhood populations, specifically PreK students. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, early intervention strategies, and childhood communication disorders. Ability to build rapport with young children and effectively engage them in therapy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
