Job Responsibilities- Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patients needs to develop tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their functional objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, holistic care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to encourage continuous improvement at home.
- Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, documenting developments and modifying treatments to keep patients on the right path.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Continuous education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
