Description

• Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using both standardized evaluations and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate objectives and the long-term communicative, cognitive, or swallowing challenges of your patients.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to forge cohesive care pathways.
• Educate patients and families to sustain progress outside of clinical interactions.
• Participate in select inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless treatment experience.
• Maintain thorough documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and professional collaboration.

Education

• A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
