Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the Spring semester in a K-12 public school setting located between Shreveport and Alexandria, Louisiana. This contract role runs from now through May 2026 and involves working primarily with an elementary to middle school caseload. Responsibilities: Provide direct speech therapy services to students across the caseload, utilizing evidence-based interventions Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes to support student academic and communication needs Complete accurate Medicaid billing documentation to comply with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individual education plans (IEPs) and track student progress Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Ability to manage caseload independently without Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Strong organizational and documentation skills for RTI and Medicaid billing In-person services required due to unreliable internet and no facilitator support for virtual therapy Location: Robeline, Louisiana, near Natchitoches, situated conveniently between Shreveport and Alexandria This full-time position requires a commitment of 37.5 to 40 hours per week providing in-person, hands-on services.
