Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Natchitoches, LA, situated between Shreveport and Alexandria. This contract position spans a full semester, from now through May 2026, with a caseload primarily focused on elementary to middle school students. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech therapy services to students Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes Complete Medicaid billing and maintain documentation accurately Collaborate with school staff to support student communication needs Qualifications: Current SLP CCC credential required Experience working with elementary and middle school populations Ability to manage a full-time caseload (37.5 to 40 hours per week) Skilled in Medicaid billing processes and RTI protocols Comfortable working in an on-site setting, as virtual options are not feasible due to unreliable internet and lack of facilitation support Location and Work Environment: Based in Natchitoches, LA, a community conveniently located between Shreveport and Alexandria Position involves direct, in-person therapy sessions with no use of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) On-site presence is necessary to ensure consistency and quality of care This role offers the opportunity to apply clinical expertise in a meaningful school environment dedicated to student growth and success.
