Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification is needed to provide direct therapy services within an elementary to middle school caseload in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position spans a full semester, beginning immediately through May 2026, located in Natchitoches, LA, conveniently positioned between Shreveport and Alexandria. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students K-8 Implement Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies to support student progress Maintain accurate Medicaid billing documentation and compliance Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize student communication outcomes Manage therapy schedules and caseload independently without support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Qualifications and Experience: Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with elementary and middle school populations in school settings Knowledge of RTI frameworks and Medicaid documentation procedures Ability to work effectively without virtual facilitation, given internet limitations Strong organizational and communication skills This role offers a stable, full-time schedule (37.5 to 40 hours weekly) in a school community seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to their students' communication development.
