Pediatric School-Based SLP

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech Therapist position is available for a contract role in a K-12 school setting, serving students from Pre-K through age 21. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and involves managing a caseload of 45-50 students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric populations and delivering speech therapy services in school environments, including teletherapy. Key Qualifications: Valid Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in pediatric speech therapy Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory Experience working in school-based settings Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification supporting K-12 students will also be considered Responsibilities: Provide individualized speech and language evaluations and interventions to students from Pre-K through age 21 Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to deliver remote services Location: Position is based in Burnsville, North Carolina, serving the K-12 student population Benefits: Contract role offering consistency during the school year Opportunities to work with diverse students in a supportive educational environment Those with a passion for pediatric speech therapy and experience in school settings are encouraged to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
