Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Therapist position is available serving students from Pre-K through age 21 in a K-12 school setting located in Marion, NC. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week during the current school year, providing a rewarding opportunity to support the communication development of a diverse caseload of 45-50 students. Key Qualifications and Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred Experience providing pediatric speech therapy services Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivery Eligibility as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist Background in school-based speech therapy highly desirable SLPA credentials for support roles considered Primary Responsibilities include: Delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy tailored to students' individual needs Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans Maintaining accurate documentation and progress monitoring in accordance with school policies Utilizing teletherapy methods as appropriate to support instruction and therapy goals Managing a caseload of approximately 45-50 students with varied speech and language needs Benefits of this role include the ability to impact students' communication abilities across a developmental spectrum in a supportive educational environment.
