Job Responsibilities- Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients unique needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families about therapeutic methods to promote ongoing progress outside of the clinic.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatments as needed to ensure patients remain on track towards their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
- Continued education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
