Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and create tailored therapy strategies that empower them to meet their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based interventions to enhance patients motor abilities, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Engage with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide inclusive, comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Train patients and caregivers in therapy practices that promote continuous progress at home
• Track and Record Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is necessary
