Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This full-time, contract position focuses on providing virtual occupational therapy services throughout the current school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to K-12 students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists, educators, and families to implement effective therapy interventions Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services rendered Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of therapy goals and strategies Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate remote service delivery while ensuring student engagement Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings preferred Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and telehealth best practices Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to work independently and manage caseload virtually Location: Turlock, CA (services provided virtually) Contract Duration: Current school year (CSY), with immediate start (ASAP) through end of school year (EOSY) Interview Availability: Candidates can schedule interviews during the week of August 25th, 26th, or 28th.
