Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Wichita KS Grades: K-12 (Primarily elementary) Start Date: September 2025 - June 2026 Schedule Options: Role Overview: You'll serve a caseload of approximately 25 students, mostly elementary students. This role involves assessment, therapy, and collaboration with educators and families to support student success. Your Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized therapy plans
Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to each student's needs
Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure proper accommodations and modifications
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting student goals
Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
Experience with school-aged children preferred
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
Familiarity with IEP processes and educational laws
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay
