Heres some additional information:

We target a 2 patient per hour caseload per therapist once fully ramped up (1:2), with flexibility based on clinician preference, patient mix and support levels.

We use Epic GardenPlot as our EMR and actively working on AI dictation and scribing to reduce documentation load.

You will have a named mentor on your first day to help guide you in your ROC journey.

No productivity penalties for no-show appointments .

What would you do in this role?

Management

Manage staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage and clinic flow and approve timecards accordingly;

Supervise and lead direct reports by motivating, inspiring, and supporting staff to a higher level of engagement, productivity, and quality outcomes;

Conduct performance reviews, review work and perform corrective action as necessary;

Provide training and other educational and development opportunities for direct reports;

Interview and select candidates to fill vacant support positions;

Resolve escalated situations as needed including complaints and incident reports from patients, direct reports, and physicians;

Develop and maintain effective communication within the organization;

Collaborate with other supervisor level staff within the organization;

Be a champion and a positive change agent for the organizations mission, vision, guiding principles and initiatives.

Clinical

Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients;

Review physicians referral and patients medical records and confer with patient and appropriate medical practitioners to plan, implement, and assess the intervention program;

Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation;

Test, measure and record in patients electronic medical record the patients strength, motor development, functional capacity, sensory perception, and respiratory and/or circulatory efficiency;

Analyze patient progress and data, record in electronic medical record and modify interventions to achieve anticipated goals and expected outcomes, including referring to other practitioners as needed;

Educate patients about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote health;

Instruct patient in use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and canes as well as in treatment procedures to be continued at home;

Discharge patient from therapy when goals or projected outcomes have been attained; provide for appropriate follow-up care or referrals.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Nevada Physical Therapy license from Nevada State Board within 60 days of employment.

Experience:

o Directing employees work including reviewing clinic flow and adjusting priorities;

o Deescalating tense situations with customers;

o Communicating effectively with all levels of employees (professional staff, managerial staff, front line staff, etc.) to resolve issues and concerns;

o Using computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office, entering data and typing.

Note: This position may require travel to other Reno Orthopedic Center locations as needed by management.
