This Next School Year opportunity offers a consistent schedule and the chance to support elementary and pre-K students in a collaborative school environment. Position Overview:
School year: August 2026 - May 2027
Grade levels: Elementary with some pre-K students
Caseload: Approximately 50-60 students
Service model: 1:1 and small group sessions
Duties include Medicaid billing, evaluations, and IEP participation
Onsite only
School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
Conduct evaluations and assist with eligibility determinations
Develop, write, and attend IEP meetings
Complete Medicaid billing and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Qualifications:
Active Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience & Education:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Work Hours:
Full-time schedule aligned with school hours (approx. 37.5-40 hours/week)

$40-47/hour DOE (average ~$44/hour, depending on years of experience)
