Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. You will support patients in home health settings as they recover from injury or illness, implementing care plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. A recruiter will follow up with additional assignment details.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey PTA license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Client requires experience working in home health or demonstrated competence with home-based care preferred. Candidates without home health experience are considered; completion of agency-specific home health orientation may be required prior to patient visits.
• Comfort with driving to patient homes and maintaining documentation in electronic medical record systems. Experience with common EMR platforms preferred.
• Ability to perform patient transfers, gait training, and basic therapeutic interventions consistent with PTA scope of practice.
