Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Green Mountain Physical Therapy
Bellingham, Washington
Green Mountain Physical Therapy is a clinician-owned outpatient practice based in downtown Bellingham. We're a small team specializing in orthopedic care, sports rehab, pelvic health, and peri/menopause support, with an emphasis on thoughtful, one-on-one care and taking the time to do things the right way.
Our goal is simple: to help people get back to doing what they care about. We support that through 45-60 minute one-on-one appointments and a more individualized approach to care. Our work includes orthopedics, return-to-sport testing, concussion rehab, pelvic health, peri/menopause care, and longevity-focused treatment.
We're proud to be part of the Bellingham community and to intentionally stay involved, supporting local events like the Noisy Waters Mural Festival. We've also been recognized as Cascade's Best Gold Winner for 2024 and 2025.
As we continue to grow, we're looking to add a Physical Therapist Assistant to the team, ideally working 35 to 40 hours per week.
Who You Are
You're someone who values quality of care and wants the time and structure to do things the right way. You're comfortable working closely with a Physical Therapist, communicating clearly, and contributing to a consistent, high-quality patient experience.
You understand that small details matter and look for ways to make each patient feel seen, supported, and cared for beyond just the clinical work.
You're motivated to keep learning, open to feedback, and interested in building confidence in both your clinical skills and efficiency.
What You'll Do
Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, movement retraining, and strength progressions
Monitor patient response and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist
Assist with treatment progression using clinic tools and objective measures
Collaborate with the care team to maintain consistency and quality of care
Complete documentation during the workday
What You Bring
Active Washington State PTA license
Outpatient experience preferred (minimum of 2-3 years ideal, but not required)
Interest in orthopedic and sports-focused rehab
Clear communication and ability to build patient rapport
Ability to work within a team and follow structured care plans

A well-equipped clinic space with access to quality equipment and a functional gym environment
A structured schedule with administrative support
