Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient physical therapy services in Sugar Land, TX. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional return to community activities. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate. Complete timely, accurate documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulations and clinic policy. Participate in student education when assigned. Maintain professional licensure and meet state continuing education requirements. Follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and safety. Adhere to professional codes of conduct and organizational policies that support patient and employee safety.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license required at start of assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing outpatient physical therapy, including evaluations and 60-minute eval plus treatment sessions.
- Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in an outpatient clinic.
- Ability to supervise and provide direction for students and other therapy staff as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with safety-focused programs such as safe patient handling.
