Qualifications and Skills:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in North Carolina (NC)
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CF accepted (district supervision available for SLP-CF)
• Recent experience within a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with supporting students diagnosed with Autism (AU) and those with low cognitive disabilities is highly valued
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to flexible caseloads and thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Please note: SLPA certifications are not being accepted at this time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to a diverse student population, serving up to 35 students per caseload
• Deliver evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student progress
• Adjust treatment plans based on student needs and caseload preferences (discussed during the interview)
• Engage in regular professional communication with district staff
