Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong understanding of a variety of communication disorders and intervention strategies
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for helping children succeed
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and caregivers
- Implement engaging, evidence-based therapy tailored to each student's needs
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans clearly and accurately
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to support student outcomes
- Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
