Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist supporting skilled nursing care in Jasper, AL. Minimum Requirements

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or equivalent clinical experience as required by the facility.
• Active Alabama SLP license required to begin the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia management, diet modifications, and instrumental assessments such as FEES or modified barium swallow protocols preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records used in skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills preferred.

Assignment Details

• May split time between two sister skilled nursing facilities located approximately 10 minutes apart if needed.
• Facility may request resume for substitution purposes.
