Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist supporting skilled nursing care in Jasper, AL. Minimum Requirements
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or equivalent clinical experience as required by the facility.
- Active Alabama SLP license required to begin the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dysphagia management, diet modifications, and instrumental assessments such as FEES or modified barium swallow protocols preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records used in skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills preferred.
Assignment Details
- May split time between two sister skilled nursing facilities located approximately 10 minutes apart if needed.
- Facility may request resume for substitution purposes.

Impacting Patient Care
Provide evidence-based SLP services to residents in skilled nursing. Deliver comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, caregiver education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Document interventions and progress according to facility and regulatory standards. Maintain professional licensure and certifications throughout the assignment.
