Interim Senior Director of Respiratory Care Services Needed in Portland, Oregon!

The Position

An Interim Senior Director of Respiratory Care Services is needed to provide leadership and operational stability for a respiratory care department.

Reporting to the Vice President of Professional and Support Services, this leader will oversee approximately 110 FTEs, including eight direct reports.

Key responsibilities include stabilizing staff, strengthening accountability, mentoring management, building collaborative relationships, and navigating a union environment.

The ideal candidate will have respiratory services leadership experience and significant management experience overseeing a large department. Must be highly organized, collaborative, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.

Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.

Respiratory license preferred.

Significant respiratory care leadership experience required, including large department oversight and management experience.

Compensation Details

Compensation Range: $175,000 to $185,000 annually.

The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.

The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
