About the Role:

• As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide short-term, intermittent services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

• You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of needs, from pediatric to geriatric populations.

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address patients' speech, language, and cognitive needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments and equipment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating language therapy, speech therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation techniques.

• Provide therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and education.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field

• Current Alabama license as a Speech Language Pathologist
