Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results
- Deliver direct and consultative services to support students progress
- Document interventions, progress, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and provide input to educators and families
- Offer resources and guidance to teachers and parents for supporting carryover of skills in the classroom and home
