Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Job

Were hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Gardner, MA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Therapy program (Associate or Bachelors degree).
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligible.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the State of Massachusetts in good standing.
• Prior respiratory therapy experience required. One year experience as an RRT preferred if not otherwise specified by client.
• Basic computer skills required.
• ACLS obtained within 6 months of hire.
• NRP required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and arterial blood gas interpretation.

Assignment Details

• 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each.
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Rotating weekends and holidays required.
