Were hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Northampton, MA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The Respiratory Therapist performs technical duties to administer respiratory therapy treatments to assigned patients and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelors degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
- One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
- Flexibility to cover some nights when needed.
- Experience with ventilator management and advanced airway support.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0600-1830.
- Every other weekend coverage required.
- Flexibility to cover some nights.
