Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Job

Were hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Palmer, AK where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelors degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• 2-5 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience across adults, pediatrics, and neonates (client requires this range).
• Experience performing respiratory therapy procedures on patients, including care for adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to start on short notice and meet client submission requirements (travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; include home address on submissions).

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner EHR experience.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience.

• Uniform: black scrubs.
• Patient ratio: 1:1.
• EMR: Cerner.
