Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Vancouver, WA at an outpatient clinic. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The caseload is primarily orthopedic across adolescent to geriatric populations and includes student athletes. Applicants should be prepared to use WebPT for documentation. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active WA PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience or ability to manage primarily orthopedic caseloads across adolescent to geriatric patients.
- Experience with WebPT preferred.
- Ability to maintain productivity of approximately 12 patients per 10-hour day preferred.
- Comfort working in a large gym setting and collaborating with aides on the floor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience treating student athletes.
- Prior experience in outpatient settings preferred.
- Familiarity with in-ground therapy pool environments is a plus, noting PTs/PTAs do not get in the water.
- Previous work alongside tenured staff in a relaxed, team-oriented environment is preferred.
Assignment Details
- MondayFriday, 4x10s.
- Productivity expectation: approximately 12 patients per 10-hour day.
- EMR: WebPT.
- Caseload: primarily orthopedic with about 10% neuro (post-CVA, already through rehab); no pediatrics/infants.
- Facility features: 6,000 sq ft space, large gym, in-ground therapy pool (PTs/PTAs do not enter the water), and three aides available for floor support.
