Under general supervision, performs pulmonary function studies, pulmonary rehab procedures and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures in accordance with physicians orders, protocols and departmental policies/procedures. Maintains adequate records. Follows standard infection control procedures. Performs inservice and teaching. Performs pulmonary function procedures, assuring patient is provided adequate, safe care and accurate testing results.

- Performs diagnostic, therapeutic and rescue procedures.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process in delivering services to patients of the age group served.

- Graduate of a 2- year Respiratory Care Accrediting Board (RCAB) approved school of Respiratory Care.
- Graduate of a 2-year Respiratory Care Accrediting Board (RCAB) approved school or be registry eligible.

Pulmonary Function Technologist Certificate from National Board of Respiratory Care
- Respiratory Therapist Certificate from National Board of Respiratory Care
- N/A
- One (1) year recent experience in computerized pulmonary function lab. Registration by National Board for Respiratory Care. CPR Certification Arterial Blood Gas Certificate.
