We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Haskell, TX. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain skills needed for daily living through therapeutic exercises, ADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, and caregiver education. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active OTA/OTA-C state license (TX or compact license required to start).
  • Minimum 2 years OTA experience in a long term care (LTC) setting required.
  • BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
  • Experience implementing treatment plans, ADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, and documentation in a skilled nursing/LTC environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Documentation of restorative therapy or DOR (Daily/Restorative) experience preferred.

Assignment Details

  • 8 hour days - 40 hrs guaranteed.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Weekend requirement: None.
