Key Qualifications: Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license (required) Experience or strong interest in school-based PT preferred Familiarity with developing and implementing treatment services for children and adolescents Skilled in completing comprehensive evaluations, writing IEPs, LMNs, and progress monitoring Experience with PT Assistant (PTA) supervision is beneficial Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities Primary Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality PT services to students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs) Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' needs and create targeted treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation including progress monitoring and required reports Supervise and mentor PT Assistants as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all regulations Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers to support student success Contribute to a positive school environment and foster student engagement and independence Position Highlights: Contract, full-time role for the 2026-2027 school year School hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 35 hours per week Supportive interdisciplinary team and professional learning resources Opportunity to positively influence students' lives while advancing your career Experience the rewards of working in a school where your skills truly matter.
