Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification or licensure as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Experience working with early childhood, school-aged, and young adult students (up to 22 years old) Strong knowledge of audiology, sign language, and assistive technology Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Dedication to inclusivity and advocacy for students' needs Key Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instructional methods as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and other service providers Advocate for student accommodations, technology, and accessibility Develop and maintain IEP documentation and required reporting Enjoy the opportunity to positively impact students' lives while benefiting from a schedule that values your work-life balance.
