Key Qualifications: Credentialed specialist or certified teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Proficient in ASL and/or other communication modalities Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Strong advocacy, communication, and organizational skills What You'll Do: Provide direct and consultative services to students from early childhood through age 22 identified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing Develop, adapt, and deliver instructional strategies tailored to individual needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive setting Conduct functional assessments and contribute to student evaluations Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals Participate actively in IEP meetings, transition planning, and regular team consultation Promote self-advocacy, communication, and life skills for successful student outcomes This flexible, part-time contract is ideal for professionals seeking a balanced schedule while making a real difference.
