Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Michigan Physical Therapist license as stated by LARA. This must be current and verifiable.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Demonstrated outpatient physical therapy experience required. Acute care experience preferred as secondary.
- PT experience documented on work history and skills checklist, current to within one year, required.
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years, required.
- Candidates must reside outside the facility's 50-mile radius per client restriction. Local candidates within that radius will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delegating and supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and aides in an outpatient setting.
- Experience developing and documenting goal-specific treatment plans and coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 8:00 am5:30 pm MondayThursday, and 8:00 am12:00 pm Friday.
- 40 hour workweek guarantee.
- No weekend requirement.
- Primarily outpatient setting with acute care as secondary.

Impacting Patient Care
This position delegates responsibility to Physical Therapist Assistants and aides. Responsibilities include evaluating patient function, developing goal-specific treatment regimens, submitting written plans of care, scheduling frequency and duration of treatments, and educating patients and caregivers regarding condition, prognosis, and treatment rationale. Care activities will follow physical therapy standards, physician orders, and facility policies.
