Occupational Therapist Job in Belen, New Mexico

Ref #: 9131629 Location: Belen, NM | Start Date: July 13, 2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Schedule: Mon-Fri | Compensation: Local PPW $1,995/35 hours (Local: $57/hr) We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to assess and treat patients to restore, develop, and maintain independence in daily living. You will evaluate physical and cognitive function and home/environmental barriers, establish individualized goals, and design targeted treatment plans using a range of therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities include recommending and training patients in adaptive equipment and assistive devices, educating patients and families on condition management and independence strategies, documenting progress, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements: current, active Occupational Therapy state license; CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED); registry personnel must present state or federal photo ID at the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.
