Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a full-time basis for the upcoming academic year. This onsite contract opportunity spans from August 13, 2026, through June 9, 2027, providing you with the chance to make a lasting impact on a vibrant school community each weekday from 8:00am to 3:30pm. You'll work directly with an elementary caseload, collaborating with teachers and staff to support students' development and educational goals. Your expertise in the school setting will contribute to a positive and enriching environment for the children you serve. Desired Qualifications: Active California COTA license required Previous experience in a school-based role is essential Strong understanding of elementary student needs Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Capability to manage time efficiently and adapt to the school's pace Comfortable working onsite in the school environment Ready to participate in a virtual Zoom interview Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct therapy services to students in an elementary setting Support and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with educators and other support staff Maintain accurate documentation and records per district and professional standards Monitor and report on student progress, sharing updates with the team Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere This contract position offers the stability of full-time hours with a regular weekday schedule in an engaging school community.
