This full-time, contract role covers a 12-week FMLA leave, with the potential to extend, offering you the chance to make a genuine difference across the district.

Youll work each school day, providing essential occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. From helping students reach developmental milestones to collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams, your impact will be felt throughout the district.

What Were Looking For:

  • Valid COTA license/certification (CT DPH and NBCOT exam passed)
  • Some school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation for district-wide assignments
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Comfortable serving diverse age groups and needs (Pre-K12)
  • Ability to document progress and follow therapy plans with attention to detail

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy sessions per IEP and treatment plans
  • Support OT in developing and implementing student goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress
  • Travel between schools within the district as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals
  • Foster a supportive, encouraging environment for all students
