Speech Language Pathologist in Plano, TX

Step into an impactful opportunity for the 20262027 school year supporting high school juniors and seniors as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time, onsite position, youll work directly with approximately 40 students, providing essential speech and language services that make a lasting difference in their educational journey.

Leverage your expertise to evaluate needs, design and implement targeted IEP goals, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators and families. Youll play a pivotal role in guiding students as they prepare for life beyond graduation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Experience supporting high school students is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in 11th and 12th grades
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services
• Create and maintain up-to-date, accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate regularly with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students needs are met
• Provide consultation and resources to support a positive educational experience for each student
