- Educion : High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associe Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Licensure/Certificion : Current RCP licensure in approprie ste, required.
- Acts as a pient advoce for the pient and their support system by incorporing educion in the interdisciplinary care plan.
- Prioritize job duties according to pients' needs and changing acuity levels and ensures timely completion of care interventions, medical orders, etc.
- Administers and evalues medicion therapies, performs pient transfers and transports pients.
- Ability to evalue pient needs and provide approprie routine respirory care such as ABGs, bronchial hygiene therapy, etc., as well as perform higher levels of care in critical care areas and emergent situions.
- Demonstres independence in the specialty of Respirory Care. Practices according to ste requirements and standards.
- Critical Care Specific: Ventilor management, code blue, airway management, interpretion and intervention with blood gas analysis, use of all reled protocols for pient care.
- Document care in accordance with hospital policy and regulory requirements.
